Shay: (walking slowly, waving at Brandon)

In the contest hall

Brandon: (waiting impatiently outside the dressingroom door) You ready yet? They're about to start, you know.

Ali: *appears our of thin air with a Kadabra behind her and an outfit change* Hi!

Nami: *comes out of the dressing room wearing a blue kimono (exept itonly goes to mid-thigh), and has a blue flower in her hair. She's holding up a REALLY fancy bow* *To Brandon* Put this on the back of my sash.

(Ali's new outfit )

Brandon: Uh...sure. (puts it on the sash and quickly walks away to the stands) Good luck.

Nami: *runs into the common room for the participants*

Ali: *Grabs Brandon's hand and drags him to the stands*

Brandon: It's going to start soon.

Announcer: Good Evening, Azure City! It's time to kick off the contest Season with the first contest of the year! So here are our Judges! Mr. Takeshima of the Pokemon Fan Club, Mr. Contesta, and Azure's very own Nurse Joy!

Mr. Takeshima: Great to be here, remarkable!

Contesta: I look forward to seeing all of you budding young Coordinators.

Nurse Joy: Happy to be here!

Announcer: And now our first appealer, welcome Nami Kokoro!

Ali: *Puts something she was apperantly carrying in her lap and is wrapped in a cloth and applauds*

Nami: *comes out from behind the cutain* Popple, go! *throws up Popple's pokeball*


Popple: *Comes out of it's pokeball surronded by bubbles*


Nami: Popple, use bubble, then ice beam!


Popple: *uses bubble, then frezzes the bubbles with ice beam*


Nami: Now, ice beam again, and jump!


Popple: *uses ice beam while jumping, causing the frozen bubbles to burts and leaving the airfull of sparkles* *lands on Nami's shoulder*


Nami: *curtsys*

Brandon: Ali...is that...An Egg?

Ali: *doesn't hear brandon over the applause as she herself applauses* Wooot! Go Nami!

Takeshima: Remarkable
Contesta: For a new Coordinator, you truly do have the hang of it already.
Nurse Joy: Not even the slightest case of nerves, a sight to behold!

Brandon: Ah man I missed it!

After a series of appeals, a girl with purple hair walks onto the stage and grins. An Espeon Leaps out from behind her and lands perfectly

Girl: Espeon, ShadowBall!

Espeon: Espi! (shoots three Shadowballs into the air)

Girl: Disrupt them!

Espeon: (makes the Shadow Balls Explode into fireworks)

Girl: Confusion!

Espeon: (uses confusion and the sparkles all collect together then expand in a glorious explosion)

Ali: Whoah...
Bub-Bub: Pooooooop

Nami: *from the common room* Eh..... She's good......

Ali: Brandon did you say something earlier?

Announcer: And now for the segment we've all been waiting for! Contest battle!

Brandon: Oh boy...Nam's in Trouble. Her pokemon can't beat any of the ones in here I've seen them. Her best chance is to drop their points.

Ali: *nods her head*

A couple matches go by.

Announcer: And now our next match! Nami versus Willana!

Willana: (walks out, it's the girl from before) Hm...

Nami: *comes out with Popple's pokeball and goes to her side of the stage*

Ali: I hope she wins..

Willana: They seem to have high expectations for you. Too bad. Espeon, you can rest. This one's a job for Pachirisu. (throws a pokeball and Pachirisu leaps out in a flip, covered in amazing sparks) Good luck.

Brandon: Yep, she's doomed.

Ali: *sighs*

Nami: *smiles half-heartedly at her* Good luck. *throws up Popple's pokeball, who then comes out surrounded by bubbles*

Announcer: Begin!

Willana: Pachirisu, sweet kiss!

Pachirisu: Chipa! (Blows a kiss)
