Two forested routes that both lead to and from Verde Town.

Vance: Hm? Oh...them.

Brandon: (sarcasm) Nice to see you too, buddy. What brings you two out here?

Wilana: I'm on my way to the contest to try and get that last ribbon.

Vance: I'm just coming with her. We started down this way from Blanch. I got that fifth gym badge not long ago.

Brandon: What?! You're already down to your fifth badge?!

Nami: And she only needs ONE more ribbon?!

Vance: Grumpig!

Both: Let's Go!

Brandon: Alright then let's play. Amby.

Amby: Am!

Ian: You take the spinning top of doom, I take the overgrown flying pig! Go, Poochyena! Dark Pulse!

Vance: Focus Blast!

Grumpig: (throws a focus blast at dark pulse, disrupting it then moves in for brick break)

Hitmontop: (spins toward Amby)

Brandon: Fire Spin!

Amby: (hits hitmontop with fire spin but the fire gets blown out by the breeze from the spinning) Am?

Brandon: We gotta stop it from spinning. That's it! Quick Attack around Hitmontop in the opposite direction of its spin!

Amby: (starts running around Hitmontop)

Ian: Sand attack then go behind it!

Grumpig: (misses and falls over then turns around)

Vance: Bounce Attack!

Grumpig: (springs up high with its tail)

Hitmontop: (slows to a stop then blinks with an "uh-oh" face as Amby uses Fire Spin on it)

Ian: Wait for it...

Just as Grumpig is about to hit, Juno uses Dark Pulse right above it.

Wilana: Now!

Hitmontop: Top! (spins, turning the fire spin into a fire tornado and slams into Amby)

Amby: Aaaam! (slides back then starts glowing with a dark aura)

Brandon: What's this?

Amby: AmbyambyambyamyAM! (slams into Hitmontop, forcing it to stop then jumps back and slams into it with Quick Attack)

Hitmontop: (stands on it's feet then falls over) Hitmontop. @_@

Brandon: That last attack...was that...Payback?

Pokedex: Yes.

Brandon: Nobody asked you!

(XD the pokedex still think's Brandon's an idiot XD)

The Dark Pulse pushes Grumpig down, and Juno uses sand-attack then bite.

Amby: (slams into grumpig with quick attack at the same time that Grumpig gets hit by Poochyena)

Grumpig: Grumpig! (struggles to stay up then falls over) Gruuuuum...@_@

Wilana: (calls Hitmontop back to its pokeball)

Vance: (calls Grumpig back)

Amby: (looks at Poochyena and smiles) Amby!

Juno: *roars* *begins to glow* *deeper roar xD*

Ian: Cool, Juno evolved!

Wilana: You two did a good job. We're going to be on our way now. It's getting dark and we have a stop to make. We'll see you in Marron. (walks off with Vance)

Brandon: Right. Hey, everyone. We can camp out here for the night. Let's start setting up the tents. (grabs the tent from his bag)

Brandon: (gets up last) Wow...I think I'm beginning for miss Ali's "alarm".
