Verde Town

Verde Town - A truly cultural town, this is where the second gym and second contest hall are located. It's a town also known for its museum. It's believed that scientists inside have developed a machine to revive pokemon from fossils.

Inside the Contest Hall

Nurse Joy: Welcome everyone and thank you for coming to the Verde Contest! The Contest will be held this afternoon. Please check in now if you please.

Ian: Ian Ventus from Azure City.

Nurse Joy: May I please see your contest pass, Ian? You do have one, don't you?

Shayleen: (Walks around town)

Andy: (Bumps into her) Oh Sorry.

Shay: No--- Oh it's you again.

Amby: Am! (Jumps on Shay's shoulder)

Nami: *walks up to the counter as well* I'd also like to register. *hands her her pass*

Ian: *hands pass*

Nurse Joy: (takes the passes, swipes them through the machine and hands them in) Good luck! (tilts her head cutely and smiles)

Later that afternoon

Brandon: Man, this is going to be a contest to remember.

Ian: It's almost time.

Shay: (sitting in the pokemon Center talking with Andy)
Andy: so your hoping to be a breeder?
Shay: Yeah kinda.

Announcer: And now let's do this. Let's appeal! First up, Ian Ventus!

Andy: The pokemon contest is starting, Wanna watch?
Shayleen: I'll go when I feel like it. (Leans back in the chair)

Ian: Let's go, Blaze! *Amby is sent out* Okay, dig!

Amby: *digs a circle of holes then goes down in a center hole*

Ian: Flamethrowers!

Amby: *uses flamethrower through all the holes except center*

Ian: Now!

Amby: *climbs out middle, and glows white*

The flames fall, and Amby has evolved.

Nami: *comesout of the dressing room in her costume (look at my sign up to see it) and holding her bow* Brandon, put this on the back of my sash.

Brandon: (puts the bow on the sash and seems calmer than usual) Hey, he's good. You have yourself a good time out there...and good luck. (walks off to his seat)

Andy: (Walks to the contest hal and sits down which is ironically next to Brandon)

Shayleen: ....(walks out of the center and walks around)

Ian: Blaze, finish with rekindle!

Blaze: *heals with rest of flame*

Nami: *goes into the contestent lobby*

Mr. Contesta: While I admire the appeal, using the Pokemon's evolution as a springboard was very risky...(smiles) Good work.

Mr. Takeshima: Yes, Remarkable.

Nurse Joy: Excellent job, that appeal was both beautiful and suprising!

After a few appeals

Announcer: Alright now it's all down to Nami Kokoro!

Nami: *comes onto the stage* go Popple! *throws up Popple's pokeball, who then comes out in a shower of sparks* Use bubblebeam!


Popple: *fills the stage with bubbles*


Nami: Now frezze them.


Popple: *uses ice beam*


Nami: Ok, n-


*the bubbles start to fall, and popple starts absorbing the force*


Nami: *Smirks* relase the energy!


Popple: *realises the energy, causing a huge flash coming from Popple*


Both: *bow*

Mr. Contesta: Quite the breathtaking performance I'd say.

Mr. Takeshima: Yes, Remarkable!

Nurse Joy: You really do now how to bring out the best of your pokemon as well! Good job.

Ian: Nice job, Nami.

Nami: *bows again then runs off stage, looking very pale* Hi Ian, bye Ian! *runs to the bathroom, where she procceds to hyperventalate*
