Blanch City - Gym: Ellie This city is truly energetic it absolutely never sleeps. Ellie makes sure of that. She may be young but she keeps everything running. She's also a decent trainer, having become the gym leader. The Pokeathlathon's Speed Courses are held here. The Safari Zone is also here.

Shayleen: (Goes to her room and lays down)

The next morning

Brandon: (wakes up first and goes outside and looks around) Guess they'll meet me there. (goes to the Safari Zone)

Shay: (Gets up and goes to th Safari Zone)

Amby: Am...by! Am...by! (Walks with her)

Zak: *wakes up third* Safari Zone! I'm gonna catch me some pokemon! *goes outside after getting ready and runs to the Safari Zone*

Brandon: (sees Zak and Shay coming) Hey guys...where's Nami? Just curious.

Shay: Dunno,

Brandon: Oh...Okay.

Ian: Gee, you didn't even think about askin' where I was.

Brandon: Uh...

Ian: (laughs) It's okay, dude, just messing with you. Let's go check out the Safari Zone.

Shay: Right! (Runs off toward the Safari Zone)

Amby: (Follows)

Front Gate Attendant: Ah, you must be Brandon and Co. Eli told me that you all can come here free the first time.

Eli: (walks in come on) Hey, guys.

In the safari zone

Eli: (gets in an eight seated jeep) Hop in.

Brandon: (gets in the middle seat)

Shayleen: ((Sits down in one of the seats next to him)

Ian and Zak hop in the back seats.

Nami: (runs in) Hey, wait up! (hops into the seat on the opposite side of Brandon)

Brandon: (looks at them both and sinks in his seat)

Shayleen: Heh What's wrong Brandon?

Brandon: Nothin, just...like sittin like this.

Nami: Heh. Let's go!

Eli: (floors it and the group takes off through the Safari Zone)

Shayleen: ... (looks around)

Amby: Am! Amby!

Brandon: (looks) Look at all the pokemon!

Nami: Whoa...

Shay: Cool.

Amby: Am Am Am!

Brandon: Oh cool, Tucagua!

Tucagua: Tuca! (flies overhead in a flock)

Shay: (nods looks around again)

Brandon: Hey, Ponyta! (points over the horizon)

Shayleen: (Looks to where Brandon's pointing) Mmmm

Ian: Hm? What are those Blue pokemon attached to the trees over there?

Eli: Oh those? Those are Aquala. I don't see any Koalaqua but Team Rocket did get away with plenty of pokemon I'm sure.

Shayleen: Hmmm? That would be a great addition to my team, wouldn't you think so Amby?

Amby: Am! (nods)

Eli: (stops the jeep) Go for it. They're water types. You can't battle them because it'd be illegal. This IS a reserve. You can only throw pokeballs, bait, and mud. Good luck.

Nami: (giggles) Go, Shay!

Brandon: Go get em!

Shay: (Smiles to herself) Alright then. (Throws some bait in front of the Aquala)

Aquala: (smells the bait and climbs down from the tree then looks at it while wiggling its ears) La? (sits down, picks up the bait, and starts nibbling it)
