Wilana
Coordinator

Bio: Wilana, fraternal twin to Vance, is a coordinator through and through. She hates people who deface contests or don't take them the way she believes they should be. She's managed to collect a fair few pokemon in her coordinator career as well. Apparently she came second place in her first Grand Festival. It is unknown how many times she's aimed for the Grand Festival before actually getting in. She has many powerful pokemon that she calls upon to appeal or battle with.

Current Pokemon


Espeon was the first of Wilana's pokemon seen. It was originally used to create a dazzling appeal which got high marks from the judges. It's not been seen much outside of that appeal but it has some powerful attacks such as Shadow Ball and Confusion.

Pachirisu was the second of Wilana's Pokemon seen and is one of her many electric types to be used. It was first seen in a Contest Battle against Nami's Popple, where it lost only due to Point Loss.

Hitmontop is another of her many Pokemon. Hitmontop was seen only once in a Pokemon Contest Intermission Show. It used its spinning speed to whip up a tornado and merged this with Corphish's Bubblebeam attack.

Electrode was seen during the Verde Contest where it performed exceptionally then battled Ian and his newly evolved Magmosaur but wound up losing due to point loss. It knows some powerful attacks such as Spark and Thunder as well as supportive attacks such as Rain Dance and Magnet Rise.

Dragonite, having evolved from Dragonair, Dragonite seems to be leaps and bounds more powerful. Oddly, its Thunder Attack is blue instead of Yellow like before it evolved. It was only seen once during an Intermission Show at the Negra Contest but it's clear that it is a major powerhous of Wilana's team.

Eevee was only seen once on Wilana's shoulder when the group met her on the way to a contest. Its battle strengths aren't known but it apparently has a very close bond to Wilana.

Pokemon She Used to Have

Eevee was never seen in a flashback and its true strengths were never known. Wilana simply commented once that she'd evolved her Espeon from an she'd obtained straight from teh egg.

Dragonair was seen briefly during the Verde contest where is annihilated a Milotic using a powerful and beautiful Thunder Attack.

Kitana
Coordinator

Kitana got an early start on her adventure. Her father brought home an injured Beldum which she took care of herself until it got better. She was later granted the blessing of her parents to go and start her adventure. Despite being so young, she's a powerful trainer with many powerful pokemon.

Current Pokemon

Metagross evolved from Metang some time Between the Marron Contest and the Amari Contest. It shares the same close bond with Kitana and as such also knows many powerful attacks such as Meteor Mash and Psychic.

Bronzong is another pokemon that seemed to evolve almost overnight. It's one of Kitana's two powerhouses with powrful attacks such as Gyro Ball as well as useful ones such as Trick Room.

Snorlax evolved During a contest battle against Ian who lost to its massive bulk. It isn't the main powerhouse of Kitana's team but still proves itself to be a tank in every way with moves like Body Slam and Hyper Beam to back it up.

Previously Owned

Beldum was Kitana's first pokemon and her best friend. It's aided her in many contests and has since evolved into the much more powerful Metang.

Metang was an annoying pokemon to Ian and Zak for some time, using its Confusion attack to make their pokemon dance like puppets. That said, it's also a very powerful pokemon and a rather fast one that has since evolve into Metagross.

Bronzor was seen very briefly and was only used to set up Trick Room for an Appeal in which Beldum. Its other strengths are not quite known. It has since evolved into one of Kitana's tanks, Bronzong.

Munchlax was hardly seen. It evolved during its first appearence in a contest battle against Ian in which it managed to use what speed it had to dodge Magmosaur by snatching PokeCandy out of the air.

Vance
Trainer
Badges: Unknown

Vance, twin brother to Wilana, is a fairly capable trainer who hasn't done much battling around the team but he has made it known based on knowledge that none of the others knew, that he is a formidable trainer.

Current Pokemon

Umbreon is one of the two pokemon that anyone's sure Vance even has. It's suprising good at offensively attacking for an Umbreon while keeping its high defensive ability. Its strength in battle has yet to be truly seen but Vance did once mention a powerful Dark Pulse Attack.

Eevee wasn't seen any time other than on Vance's head while he and Wilana were travelling together. Its battle strengths, if any, are unknown but it's apparently a staple of his team and holds a close bond with him.

Previously Owned Pokemon

Vance's first pokemon, he recieved it straight from the egg. Its strengths in battle were never made clear but it later evolved into Vance's Umbreon.

Kali
Trainer

Kali is a relatively tough trainer who competed in a number of regions Prior to actually competeing in Shuinn. She came from Kanto where she made top eight in the Pokemon League and eventually decided to start over with only her starting pokemon when she came to Shuinn.

Current Pokemon

Charmeleon is apparently the powerhouse of Kali's team. It was her first pokemon and allegedly knows powerful attacks such as Dragon Claw and Flamethrower.

Bubburst was briefly seen in a battle against Zak's Fertileaf where it used its superior speed and flight to pull off an impressive victory, freezing Fertileaf in place after completely taking a fully charged Solarbeam. Its full strength is not yet known but it's definately one of the main powerhouses of Kali's team.

Pineco was briefly seen. Kali managed to capture it just before meeting the group. Its battle capabilities are not known.

Previously Owned Pokemon

Charmander was Kali's first pokemon and did manage to hold its own through the Kanto and Johto regions. It eventually evolved and became even more powerful and more valuable.

Popple wasn't seen in battle. It's only known that it was a gift from Professor Kimba when Kali came to Shuinn years ago for a visit.

Bubblow is another pokemon of Kali's never seen only spoken of.

Psiana
Trainer
Badges: Unknown

Psiana is a Psychic Trainer. She specializes in Psychic types as well. She's a bit of a handful but she's powerful and not without her fair share of tricks. Don't you dare underestimate her.

Metagross was a pokemon of hers that was very briefly seen. After nearly being captured by Team Rocket, it evolved from Metang. Its greatly increased weight brought the copter down and allowed the captured pokemon to escape. Having evolved, it knows many powerful attacks, such as Hyper Beam.

Poliwag was used sparingly. It's small but has access to powerful attacks such as Ice Beam and Hypnosis.

Previously Owned Pokemon

Metang was a relatively annoying pokemon who used its flying ability to set itself up so it could practically skydive with/into an opponent. It evolved quickly, however, when it was kidnapped by Team Rocket.

Matthew
Trainer
Badges: At Last Count 5

Matthew is a far from pleasant trainer. No one's sure why he's so cold. He just is. That said, he uses flying types mostly and manages to overcome numerous type disadvantages, completely dominating all competition. He and Brandon have clashed multiple times but not once has there been a real winner.

Current Pokemon

The Main Pokemon of Matt's team, Staraptor is Matthew's powerhouse and a loyal pokemon. Despite its cruel trainer, it does whatever it's told, even if it sometimes means being cruel. Staraptor is an incredibly powerful pokemon with moves like Ariel Ace and Brave Bird.

Skarmory was briefly seen but has proven itself to be a powerful pokemon as well as one equally is cold as its trainer. It has many powerful attacks such as Payback and Steel wing which it used in battle against Brandon's Amby, nearly overcoming its type disadvantage.

Aerodactyle was used briefly in a battle against Zak, who furiously challenged Matthew to a battle. Aerodactyle easily defeated Zak's Fertileaf and is capable of many powerful attack including Ariel Ace and Hyper Beam.

Previously Owned

Starly was briefly seen. Its only appearance was during a battle with Brandon's Amby to which is nearly lost before turning things around for a tie. IT eventually evolved into a pokemon that poses a much greater threat.

Staravia was seen, again, only once. It was battling Brandon's Amby once again where it just barely lost to Amby's speed. It would later evolve into a much more powerful and threatening pokemon, Staraptor.

Jubilee

Badges: At Last Count, 6

Jubilee is a recently met trainer and one who rushes often. She seems pressed for time but she's definately worth the watch. Be careful because her closeness to her pokemon is something you'll want to watch out for.

Current Pokemon

Losba is Jubilee's main pokemon and major powerhouse. Its battle strengths have also bee elaborated on. It seems to know Psycho Cut as well as Water Pulse while still holding onto Yin Song.

Mawile is a baby pokemon but a powerful one. Its full battle strengths aren't known but it does seem capable of Fake Tears and Iron Head attacks. Since Jubilee hatched it from its egg, it seems to hold a particularly close bond to her and cries whenever it can't find her.

Alexandra
Trainer
Badges: At Last Count, 6

Alexandra was met in Rojan inside of the gym. She seems a capable trainer, apparently from Goldenrod City in Johto, she's got some powerful pokemon on her side and is one to watch out for.

Current Pokemon

Chikorita is Alexandra's main pokemon but its battle strengths are unknown. That said, it does apparently have a few wins under its belt and seems capable of Razor Leaf attack.

Bansea was seen in a battle against Brandon and Shay. It caused some troubles for Shay's Koalaqua but after an opponent swap, it was beaten. It seems capable of a powerful water pulse and ice beam attack.

Nina
Coorinator
Ribbons: All 5

Nina is a scary good and very serious coordinator who won't battle anyone who doesn't take contests seriously or play them the way she thinks they should be played. She's fond of poison type pokemon and ninja techniques.

Current Pokemon

Drapion is one of Nina's appeal pokemon and was used rather remarkably to create a dazzling appeal with powerful attacks such as Sludge Bomb and Cross Poison.

Crobat was used briefly in a battle against Zak which Nina forfeigted due to the fact that Zak wasn't treating the battle the way a contest battle should be. But in its time it revealed a useful doubleteam attack and a powerful Ariel Ace which it very well could have used to win.

Alice
Allegedly Trainer
Badges: Most Likely 7

Alice was seen very briefly. She apparently is a trainer as she stepped out of the Pokemon Gym with her pokemon. Her skill in battle has yet to be seen.

Current Pokemon

Pyrumise was the only of her pokemon seen. It was seen following her around and as such its battle skills are not yet known.

Brawler Sonya
Trainer and Pokeathlete
Badges: All 8

Sonya is a powerful trainer and martial artist who uses Fighting type pokemon as a specialty. She's a skilled combatant and a powerful adversary.

Current Pokemon

Chamatern, having Evolved to Protect Lucario seems to also have shed its crush for it. That said, it's a very powerful pokemon with useful attacks under its belt

Machamp was briefly seen. Its battle strengths aren't known to the fullest but it seems capable of a powerful Rock Smash attack.

Medicham is a powerful pokemon who managed to hold its own against Shay's Willoweed for a short while but eventually fell. It has a powerful Ice Punch attack and Mind Reader to make sure its moves hit.

Auriorage is a powerful pokemon of Sonya's its got a powerful Aura Spere attack and an ever useful Counter which it used effectively in battling Shay's Urcicle. It seems to be Sonya's main powerhouse.

Hitmonlee is one of Sonya's more powerful pokemon with a powerful Mega Kick attack as well as Focus Blast and a useful Swagger attack which it used effectively to defeat Lucario.

Used to Have

Maternimatch was a young pokemon but a powerful one and had a crush on Shay's Lucario which it repeatedly glomped. But after evolving to protect it, it seemed to shed that nature.

Lilian
Elite Four Member
Position: 1st

Lilian is a well known member of the Elite Four, specializing in Grass Type pokemon. She dresses like her best friend, her Bellossom and loves to dance but don't take her lightly. She's powerful.

Current Pokemon

The only pokemon of hers seen is Lilian's Bellossom. It follows her around everywhere but its battle capabilities aren't known. Though, due to the fact that Lilian is from the Elite 4, it is assumed that Bellossom is very powerful.
