Brandon: Blame my Gramps for the one liner. He's full of em. (foreshadow) Anyway, Sweet! My first badge!

Nami: Wait, what about my Gym battle?!

Brandon: He has to go patch up his pokemon. You'll get your match later. Come on, let's hit the pokemon center. (walks out of the gym)

Nami: (runs after him)

Later after a few hours

Nami: I'm heading off to my gym battle now!

Brandon: (half asleep) Yeah okay, you go do that.

Nami: (leaves. Later at the gym) Clancy, I'm ready for the match!

Clancy: (walks out) So you're all set, then?

Nami: Yup! *gets out Popple's pokeball*

Clancy: Flirus.

Flirus: Bzzzt. (flies onto teh field)

Ref: This will be a one on one battle! Trainers begin!

Nami: Popple, go! *throws up Popple's pokeball* Use bubblebeam!


Popple: *uses bubblebeam*

Clancy: Hmph.

Flirus: (dodges with lightning speed then appears behind Popple)

Clancy: Steel Wing!

Flirus: (slams into Popple with a tough steel wing attack)

Nami: Eh! Popple, use Ice Beam!


Popple: *stumbles a little then uses ice beam*

Flirus: (tries to dodge but is too close and gets hit head on)

Clancy: Flirus!

Flirus: @.@ Bzzzzzt Bz Bztbzt...

Ref: Victory goes to Nami of Burgundy town!

Clancy: (smiles and looks down) Good juob. (flips the badge like a coin to Nami)

Nami: T-thank you! Come on Popple! *runs to where ever Brandon and Shay are in the pokecenter with Popple on her shoulder* I got the badge!

Brandon: Cool! Now we just gotta wait for Alito get back and we can head north.

Ali: *enters the PokeCenter with Ian at her side* Hey guys.

Nami: kk!

Brandon: Hm? Who's this?

Ali: Oh, this is Ian. I met him while I was training. He's a coordinator from Azure.

Brandon: Yeah? Looks like someone has some competition then. (turns over and tries to get back to sleep)

Shay: (looks out the window as if nothing happened.)

Nami: Oh shut up. *goes into another room and sits down on one of the beds* *quietly sings Let It All Out*

Brandon: (sighs) I'll go get her. (gets up and goes to the door of the room she's in then knocks)

Nami: Who is it?

Brandon: Guess. Let me in.

Ian: *to Ali* Interesting friends you have. So the blond is a coordinator, too?

Nami: You realize it's not locked, right?

Ali: Yea, the two blondes are the coordinators. Hah * sits down on a couch and starts drawing*
