A large town located at the edge of the desert. This place turns into beach halway through as it rests on the coast. It's actually quite the popular place with beach-side resorts and all sorts of fun attractions including the next pokemon gym.

Tentakraken: (tries to swing around to hit Nutrinurse but its paralysis has made it slow down)

Nutrinurse: (concentrates the slams into the Gem on Tentakraken's head HARD with Focus Punch, cracking it) Nutri!

Tentakraken: > < Kraaa...(falls into teh water and floats up) @ @ Ten....ta...

Ian: Good job Brandon! *checks egg*

Vaporina: Hm...Good job. Even though you had no control over Nutrinurse learning Pill Pop when it did, you would have lost despite it if you hadn't thought to aim for the crystal on Tentakraken's head. Smart. I present you with the Vapor Badge.

Brandon: Alright! I got...THE VAPOR BADGE! (Does Ash's pose)

The group the decides to head out but when they get there, they see the unthinkable...it's...Snowing...in the middle of the Desert. A snowflake drops on Ian's egg and suddenly it glows, hatching.

Chilly: Chilly? Chilly!

Brandon: Whoa...what...how is it...snowing?

Vaporina: This is...it's not possible...

Ian: What's going on?!

Brandon: This is so weird...

Vaporina: (walks inside)

Brandon: Hey, where'd she go?

Ian: Dunno. Maybe my new pokemon has an ability like blizzard is a move?

Shay: This is weird.

Brandon: Armetreo, use Sunny Day!

Armetreo: (comes out of its pokeball and uses Sunny Day but it keeps snowing) Ar?

Brandon: What?

Ian: What?! Is it real snow even?

Brandon: (walks back into the gym) Wait that girl's gone! But...I don't see any other way out.

Ian: Hmm...

Ali: Let's see...wait, forget her, she disappears all the time. Didn't Vaporina come in here? Where'd She go?

Ian: Dunno. Something's fishy here.

Prof Kimba: (calls Ali) Ali! Something's not right! It's snowing...All Over the Western side of the region.

Ian: *to Kimba* I know we're here!

Ali: No, Ian, not just in the desert. ALL OVER THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE REGION. This is...insane, what's happening?

Brandon: (looks at the water in the gym) Hm.

Ian: Why hasn't this frozen? Wait... do ya think this maybe has something to do with that ice pokemon on the picture in the ruins?!

Ali: Get real, Ian, those pokemon were put to sleep ages ago.

Brandon: There's something in this water...Hm. (jumps in and swims down then comes back up) There's a door under there.

Ian: What are you waiting for? Landolfin, let's go! *they swim down and try the door*

The group swims down through the door and comes up in a secret room in back of the gym.

Brandon: That painting...it's the same picture from the ruins.

Ali: Hm...

Vaporina: (steps up behind them) What are you doing here?

Ian: Told you it had something to do with them!

Ali: I know, boy. I was tryin' to get you to shut it.

Vaporina: I'll ask again. What Are You Doing Here? (snaps)

Three Gyrados pop up from the water.

Ian: It's SNOWING all over the west half of the region and you disappear. Little suspicous.

Vaporina: So you see it fit to go snooping around my gym? I bet tons of people have disappeared already a (gets a call) Hm? (pulls out her PokeGear) Hello? Isis, what's wrong? W-what? BLACK snow? How is that?

Ian: Maybe it's soot?

Vaporina: From what? There aren't any volcanoes in the region.

Brandon: Looks like we're headed off to Emerald City...
