Rock Path

Brandon: So this is the Rock Path. I can see the Mt. Dracorian summit from here.

Zak: I'll beat you all there! *runs right past the others* Ha!

Ian: *at edge of mountain* Go, Juno!

Gekkoal appears.

Ian: Juno, use sand attack, then tackle and bite!

Gekkoal uses ember, but can't target due to the sand, and is hit by Juno, but doges bite and uses ember again. Juno gets hit, and knocked back, then uses tackle but breaks it at the last second and uses bite a few times.

Gekkoal: @_@

Ian: Good.

Chloe: (walks up with Baltoy spinning next to her) Ian?

Baltoy: Baltoy?

Ian: Hey Chloe. Say, wanna have that battle now?

Chloe: Sure. How's one on one sound?

Ian: All right. *thinks* Hmm... who should I use?

Chloe: Alright then Torkoal, let's go!

Torkoal: (emerges from its pokeball and spouts steam) Torkoal.

Ian: Okay, Poocheyena! Sand attack then tackle!

(haha poor Ian needs to study up)

Chloe: Just use ember.

Torkoal: (uses Ember and hits Poochyena head on)

Chloe: Wondering how I did it? Torkoal's White Smoke ability keeps its stats from being lowered. Ember again!

Torkoal: (fires Ember at Juno)

Ian: Uh-oh! Dodge and use tackle again!

Juno is going towards Torkal preparing to tackle.

Ian: NOW!

Juno changes from tackle to bite at the last second.

Chloe: Iron Defense!

Torkoal: (retreats into its shell, causing Poochyena to bite the shell)

Chloe: Now shake it off!

Torkoal: (starts spinning around at high speeds, hitting up against rocks like a pinball)

Ian: Jump off and use howl!

Juno jumps out of the way, but instead of Howl, it uses Dark Pulse.

Ian: Whoa! Do it again!

Juno sends multiple then begins to use tackle.

Torkoal: (spins into a rock that's hit by dark pulse at the same time then gets flipped over on its back and can't get up) Tor? Torkoal!

Chloe: (facepalms and call's Torkoal back) Good job, Lucky.

Ian: Tackle, then bite!

Since Torkoal has been called back into its pokeball, Poochyena tackles Chloe and starts licking her.

Chloe: H-hey. (giggles) Ian, get your Poochyena off of me.

Ian: She likes you hehe.

Chloe: (picks Poochyena up and gives her to Ian) Fun battle, Ian. You never cease to amuse me. I'm going to be on my way. I want to get to Marron early so I can train some for the contest there which is in two weeks. I saw that little girl who beat you. She was on her way too. She's looking even better than before so good luck. (walks off)

Ian: Well at least I have a- and she's gone. Let's go see if the gym battle's started!

Brandon: Look around for a way up.

Shayleen: (Looks around)

Aquala and Magmosaur: (Looks around)

Shay: (finds a set of stairs leading up) Found a way up!

Brandon: Way to go, shay! (runs up the stairs)

Shay; Hehe! (runs up afte him with her two pokemon following)

Brandon: (runs up and runs into a rocket and their Golbat) Greeaat. Girls, go ahead. I'll be right behind you. Magmosaur?

Magmosaur: (uses flamethrower on the Golbat)

Nami: (runs ahead and to the other side of the area)

Shayleen: (Follows Nami)

Ian: Go, Key. *key goes up behind the rocket and sucker punches his legs, making him fall* What are you doing here?
