Emerald City

Emerald City - Gym: Ice. The gym leader here is actually quite the cold person. Lame puns aside, she'll only battle a trainer she sees as a challenge. It may be against her duties as a gym leader but she's not won a battle in some time due to her good judement. Regardless, don't think that means anything. She only loses because she knows to send trainers away for a bit to train before they challenge her. She's certainly not an easy victory. A contest hall happens to be the same building as the gym.

Ali: I think that after the next contest we'll come back here for the last one before the grand festival.

Shay: Ok then. (Walks off the Sign up for the show)

Andy: (is also signing up this time)

Nami: So this Breeder Show is in the same place as the Contest Hall?

Ali: And the gym. Yep, we'll be revisiting this building quite a bit, I'm sure.

Shayleen: (comes out) alright I'm signed up. And so's the rival.

Magmosaur and Lucario nod

Ali: Hey, I bet you'll get the gold this time around now with your new pokemon!

Nami: When's the show?

Ali: In about four hours.

Shay: (nods) I hope so ^^ (Walks off to some random place)

Magmosaur and Lucario follow

Later

Mika: And now we begin our Pokemon Breeder Show! Vitality and Health Course! Will the Breeders please step out.

Breeders 1 and 2 are the first to step out.

Breeders 3 and 4 step out next which is Andy and Shay.

Andy: Good luck. (Smirks)

Shayleen: Same can be said for you. (Smirks right back)

Mika: You know our judges! Now let's begin! Professor Oak to Breeder 3, Officer Jenny to Breeder 1, Mr. Pokemon to Breeder 2, and Myself to Breeder 4!

Andy: Choppy you first!

Choppy: (comes out of it's pokeball) Choppy!

Shay: Aquala! (Sends out Aquala)

Aquala: La!

Oak: Ah, Shayleen, it's good to see you again.

Mika: Hm...this Choppy is well cared for...

Shayleen: Good to see you too Professor Oak ^^

Aquala: La! La! La! (Like its giggling cutely)

Andy: Thank you n_n

Choppy: Chop!

Mika: It's time for the racing portion! Trainers, pick your pokemon!

Breeders 1 and 2 pick Chimchar and Linoone.

Andy: toxicub! Go!

Shayleen: Magmosaur your turn!

Magmosaur and toxicub come out at the same time.

Mika: Begin!

As the race start, Linoone rockets ahead of everyone but unfortunately it slips up and hits the wall due its lack of an ability to turn well when running. Chimchar speeds past Toxicub and starts to catch up to Magmosaur.

Magmosaur: (Notices And then speeds up)

toxicub: Toxiii! (Runs up past Chimchar)

Chimchar: (tries to catch up but trips)

Mika: Chimchar and Linoone are out! Only Toxicub and Magmosaur are left! Who will it be?!

Magmosaur: (Smirks at Toxicub and those two keep running and are right beside each other)

Shayleen: They're evenly matched for Speed...

Andy: I'll say.

Mika: Time! Now for the Strength!

Andy: Bubblow! go!

Bubblow: Blo!

Shayleen: Lucario!

Lucario: (Smirks at Bubblow)

Ali: Tch. This ought to be funny.

Zak and Ian: Agreed

Shayleen: Heh you do know it's still a bubble right Andy?

Andy: Yeah. (Throws his arms in back of his head casually)

Lucario: Starts taking the weights

Mika: Well this is an interesting turn of events! Shay and her Lucario are dominating but Jeri and her Hitmonchan are close behind!

Shayleen: Don't worry Lucario. You won't let me down. (Smiles)

Lucario: (Keeps holding the weights with a couple added every so often.)

('m sure we both saw this coming)

Bubblow: (drops the weights its holding) Bubb.....

Later after the judging for the other events

Mika: Now for the Vitality and Health Judgement!
