Emerald City - Gym: Ice. The gym leader here is actually quite the cold person. Lame puns aside, she'll only battle a trainer she sees as a challenge. It may be against her duties as a gym leader but she's not won a battle in some time due to her good judement. Regardless, don't think that means anything. She only loses because she knows to send trainers away for a bit to train before they challenge her. She's certainly not an easy victory. A contest hall happens to be the same building as the gym.

Ali: I think that after the next contest we'll come back here for the last one before the grand festival.

Isis: Keep that shell closed tight, Cloyster!

Brandon: Keep it up!

Nutrinurse: (keeps pounding Cloyster with pill pop until the shell actually cracks)

Cloyster: (opens its shell and appears to be sleeping)

Isis: Oomf...Wake up!

Cloyster: (opens its eyes just in time to get a heavy Focus Punch) @.@ Cloy...

Nami: *Giggles*

Isis: (grins) Heheh...

Brandon: Wait...why are you smiling, I just took out your first two pokemon.

Isis: (holds up a two pokeballs and throws them)

Blastoise: Blastoise!

Armofrost: Raaaaaaaaargh!

Brandon: Gah!

Nami: O_O Crap

Brandon: Pill Pop 'em!

Nutrinurse: (runs in to Pill Pop both pokemon but before it can do anything, it's blasted away by Blastoise's Hydro Pump) Nuuur @.@

Brandon: ah! Errr...

Ali: Brandon's in trouble.

Nami: Yup....

Ali: You seem particularly into this battle. What's up there?

Brandon: (smiles and holds a pokeball) I asked Prof Kimba to make a swap for me last night. Go!

Bluradical: Spee!

Magmaraptor: (jumps onto the field) Maaag!

Nami: *Shrugs* I don't know.

Ali: Maybe it's because it's the best trainer you know and the best gym leader in the region.

Ian: What pokemon is that, anyway?

Nami: I have no idea.

Shay: (scans it with her PokeDex)

Dextette: Bluradical, The Speed Demon Pokemon. It is the documented fastest alive. It can run far faster than the speed of sound and nearly the speed of light itself. Many believe this to be the combination of quick movements and the wheels on its feet.

Nami: Whoa..... When'd he get one of those?

Ali: Maybe when he left the group?

Bluradical: Spee! (runs around the field)

Brandon: Magmaraptor: Flamethrower! Bluradical, Protect!

Nami: Probably.

Bluradical: (protects while running through Hydro Pump then delivers a powerful Spark Punch attack to Blastoise)

Zak: WHOA!

Ian: Way awesome! Talk about fast!

Ali: Nami I just thought about something. Have you practiced for the grad festival recently at all?

Nami: Yeah, why do you ask?

Ali: Was just wondering if you'd like me to help you practice the battle portion later.

Bluradical: (punishes Blastoise with Spark Punch)

Shay: (Stands up.) I'll.... catch up with you guys after. (Runs outside)

Magmosaur: Saur?! (runs after her)

Magmaraptor: (keeps using flamethrower but it does

Brandon: That ability it TORTURE...

Shay: Andy! (Bursts in The Pokemon Center and sees Andy)

Andy: Hm?

Shay: I want a One on one Battle.

Andy: ummm Ok?

Shay: great! C'mon! (grabs his arm and runs out to a field.)

(This battle is actually for no real reason....)

Armofrost: (uses Earthquake which Bluradical manages to clear. But Magmaraptor takes the full hit)

Magmaraptor: MAG!

Andy: Bubblow?

Bubblow: Blow! (Jumps on field)

Shay: Okey doke! Lucario go!

Lucario: ( The Red light forms Lucario)

Andy: Bubblebeam!

Shay: Lucario! Dodge and use Force Palm!

Lucario: (dodges the bubbles and attacks)

Zak: Yikes. It was hard enough for all of us with just 1. Now it's just Brandon and him.

Magmaraptor: (gets up and uses flamethrower while Bluradical hammers Armofrost with spark punches)

Armofrost: Aaaaaaarg!
