Emerald City

Emerald City - Gym: Ice. The gym leader here is actually quite the cold person. Lame puns aside, she'll only battle a trainer she sees as a challenge. It may be against her duties as a gym leader but she's not won a battle in some time due to her good judement. Regardless, don't think that means anything. She only loses because she knows to send trainers away for a bit to train before they challenge her. She's certainly not an easy victory. A contest hall happens to be the same building as the gym.

Ali: I think that after the next contest we'll come back here for the last one before the grand festival.

Isis: But Arcanico wanted to control both sides as did Foraydia. Arcanico began to try and bring heat to the East and Foraydia brought cold to the west. That is when the two began to fight. In these fights, no one was safe...They nearly leveled Mt. Dracorian...

Ian: *thinks* The tower... and the third pokemon!

Isis: That's when a savior came. A mysterious pokemon, not a dragon, but a Wizard...a mystic pokemon. It decided to put and end to the destruction...in lore it had no name but many would now refer to it as Majik.

Ian: *thinking* Hmm...

Isis: Majik tricked the two behemoths. It led them to the Mt. Dracorian Summit. They fell for the trick. Then Majik called on its power and created what we know as Sky Tower. It's a massive tower made of clouds that floats over Mt. Dracorian...

Brandon: We were in a weather tower that came from Mt. Dracorian. What's that have to do with anything?

Isis: Absolutely nothing. It's a completely different story.

Ian: That was sarcastic, right?

Isis: No. The Weather Tower initially had absolutely nothing to do with Foraydia, Arcanico, or Majik...though its recent activation may have been what reawakened them.

Brandon: Okay then back to the story at hand.

Isis: Majik tricked them into Sky Tower and used a powerful attack that locked them both into a deep sleep. Then it enchanted the tower and made it so nothing in the Tower could ever awaken...at least on its own. It then left the tower and using all of its remaining power, it hid it among the clouds.

Ian: Oh.

Isis: After that Majik disappeared...

Suddenly a loud noise is heard from outside.

Brandon: What was that?!

Ian: Let's go find out! *runs outside*

Shayleen: (Walks outside.)

Hatricity: Hatri....

Outside there is an enormous, Red dragon flying over the city.

Isis: That's...ARCANICO!

Brandon: THAT is Arcanico? That thing makes a Wailord look like an Azurill!

Shay: Whoa...

Hatricity: Hatricity!!

Zak: *somewhere not too far from there* Is that...one of the pokemon we saw in the picture, in the ruins?

Isis: It...It's flying toward Mt. Dracorian!

Brandon: Let's go going then. We can't let anything go down like it did ages ago. (runs off)

Shay: Right (PIcks up Hatricity and runs after Brandon)

Zak: *a little closer to Emerald* It's going towards the Mountain! Ack! *runs toward it in a different way*

Isis: (follows the group to Mt. Dracorian)

Back in Emerald City

Isis: Some adventure that was...So how about that Gym Battle. I'm free for it tomorrow.

Brandon: Hm? Oh sure.

Ali: Hey, be excited! It'll be your last badge! Then we can head to Stadium City for the Grand Festival, then Pokemon Show, and Finally the Pokemon League!

Shay: (Walks to the Center to get a room)

Koalaqua and Magmosaur follow

Nami: *Follows Shay*

Brandon: (follows the girls) So...you ready for the Grand Festival?

Nami: *Shrugs* I guess.

Shay: (Pulls out her pad again and starts drawing) ...

Koalaqua: (Pops out of her bag)

The next morning

Brandon: (gets out of bed and gets ready then runs off, knocking on everyone's doors) Come on, guys! If I win this we can be on our way out of here TODAY! (runs downstairs)
